Whitehead, Mary was born in 1856 in Broadwell, Gloucestershire. Daughter of Robert Whitehead and Ann Wharton. She married Robert Gregory 21 November 1881 in Evenlode, Worcestershire. She appears on the 1861 census for Broadwell, Gloucestershire; 1871 for Adlestrop; 1881 for Daylesford, Worcestershire; 1891 for Sezincote, Gloucestershire; 1901 for Leamington Priors, Warwickshire; 1911 for Barton on the Heath, Warwickshire.
