Stacey, George was born 23 January 1834 and christened 6 April 1834 in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. Son of William Stacey and Elizabeth. He married Margaret Williams in 1857 in Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire. He appears on the 1851 census for Cirencester, Gloucestershire; 1861, 1871 & 1881 for Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire; 1891, 1901 & 1911 for Adlestrop. He appears on the electoral rolls for 1889-1908.
