Shirley, Harriet Ann was born in 1879 in Tadmarton, Oxfordshire. Daughter of William Shirley and Hannah Box. She married Frank James Mills in 1901 in Banbury, Oxfordshire. She appears on the 1891 census for Tadmarton, Oxfordshire; 1901 for Adlestrop; 1911 for Wootton, Oxfordshire. She was a kitchenmaid.
