Noel

Noel, Audrey was born 7 May 1894 in Sedgehill, Dorset. Daughter of Major Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron. She married Leiutenant Colonel Thomas Bromhead Butt 14 September 1918. She appears on the 1901 census for Adlestrop; 1911 for Temple Guiting, Gloucestershire. She died in 1966.

Noel, William Henry Middleton was born 11 September 1898 in Hawkchurch, Devon. Son of Gerard Thomas Noel and Edith Mary Byron. He married Jacqueline Naomi Bendall 12 January 1934. He appears on the 1901 census for Adlestrop. He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Yorkshire Regiment. He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 4th Armoured Car Regiment, South African Forces. He fought in the Second World War. He died 6 August 1954 in South Africa.
