McBain, Alexander was born in 1860 in Adlestrop. Twin to Christina Sarah, and son of David McBain and Elizabeth Banner Wild. He married Elizabeth Matilda Horne in 1895 in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. He appears on the 1871 census for Bromfield, Shropshire; 1891 for Soulbury, Buckinghamshire; 1901 for Linslade, Buckinghamshire. He was a farmer's bailiff.

McBain, Christina Sarah was christened 22 April 1860 in Adlestrop. Twin to Alexander McBain, and daughter of David McBain and Elizabeth Banner Wild. She married 1)James Vallentine in 1888 in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire; 2)Walter Ace Warne in 1895 in Hendon, Middlesex. She appears on the 1871 census for Bromfield, Shropshire; as Christina Sarah Vallentine on the 1891 census for Greenwich East, London; as Sarah Christina Warne on the 1901 census for Croydon, Surrey; 1911 at St John at Hackney, London. She was a carrier and contractor.

McBain, David was born in 1827 in Rosshire, Scotland. He married Elizabeth Banner Wild in 1857 in Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire. He appears on the 1841 for Fodderty, Ross and Cromerty, Scotland; 1851 for Adlestrop; 1871 for Bromfield, Shropshire; 1891 & 1901 for Soulbury, Buckinghamshire. He was a gardener at Adlestrop House and later, a farmer. He died in 1909 in Hackney, London.
