Little

Little, Dorothy Lilian was born 9 November 1898 in High Easter, Essex. Daughter of William James Little and Eleanor Johnston. She appears on the 1901 census for High Easter, Essex; 1911 for Kew, Surrey. She married Harold Allen 11 May 1918 in High Easter, Essex. As Dorothy Lilian Allen, she appears on the electoral rolls for 1929-1932, 1934-1939, 1947-1952, 1955-1993 and on the 1939 England and Wales Register. She lived at 15 Main Street, and from 1970 at 4, New Road Cottages. She died 30 September 1992, aged 94, and is buried in the graveyard at Adlestrop, where she also has a bench dedicated to her memory. See Photographs.
