Gosling, Maria (married name) was born in Bramley, Hampshire in 1850. She appears on the 1871 census for Hurst, Berkshire; 1881 for Buckhorn Weston, Dorset; 1891 for Ash, Derbyshire; 1901 census for Adlestrop; 1911 for East Knoyle, Wiltshire. She was a children's nurse, in service of Henry Seymour Hoare.
