Dawe, Kathleen married Peter Vernon Ellis in 1948 in Manchester, Lancashire. As Kathleen Ellis, she appears on the electoral rolls for 1980, 1982-1984, 1987-1989. She lived at Adlestrop Cottage, later known as The Old Post Office.
